| Hello, my name is Daniel Montoya. To learn more about me and my work please visit: DanielMontoyaStudio.com I am a self-represented visual and digital artist and creative graphic designer living and working in Brooklyn, New York. My main interest is 2D media such as painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, photomanipulation, digital collage, creative graphic design, and digital art. I also like to experiment with different art genres such as still life, flowers, architectural landscape, portraiture, geometric shapes, figurative and conceptual. In regards to subject matter – I employ representational imagery to depict moments of contemplation and the beauty that surrounds me, -- while at the same time on a spiritual level I am concerned with themes that explore our relationship with nature and our existential human condition. I studied art at Tufts University & the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Pratt Institute of Art & Design in Brooklyn, NY. |
